Earth Day for Tyler
Adding to my campaign for father of the year, I scheduled a play date for my son to play with other babies on Earth Day. Thanks to MeetUp.com I found a group of One Year old babies whose parents organize to help build social skills and make long lasting memories.
The organizer brought soil, seeds, containers, paint and a spinner for the babies to further build their sensory skills. My son had never really played with dirt or paint before during his first year on earth and it really opened up my eyes.
Seeing my boy interact with the other babies and activities at hand really centered my focus and creative passion. I cant explain it, its one of those moments that as a parent you commit to making their life that much better.
Earth Day was a hit & I hope to contribute with my son to the preservation of this planet.
Meet Lexy, she is a very kind, energetic, sweet natured dog.
She couldnt be in a better home right now.
My final piece for the Cormega @ Knitting Factory
At first the place was dead, but it quickly filled up once Dj Skizz spun a few records.. Cormega brought out some local rap ambassadors to show the crowd how its done. Baby Pun (RIP Big Pun) showed that the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. Nature was there too.

He changed his outfit multiple times, he brought his father out on stage, kept it real hip hop.
On March 22, 2013, Cormega performed @ the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn & while I was one of the first to arrive early, I picked out my spot and snapped a few shots of the opening acts. Lrg Pro was in the crowd. Two men spit their verses and let the crowd know what they rep.

Red Bull was a huge part of this event and even though they tried their best, real snowboarders were on the slopes of NH, VT or CO.. not Central Park

another huge aspect of this event was the dogs and their fashion. Dogs, we all love the dogs.
NYC Park Winter Jam ‘13
Back in January of this year, NYC in agreement with Mountain Creek & Burton took it to Central Park to teach urban folk how to snowboard and ski for free.
Waivers had to be signed..
The lines filled up very quickly..
Young man by the name of Tommy told me he was very hesitant to try.. he had never tried snowboarding before.
Folks quickly began to ski and take pictures of their children, it was a wonderful event for the whole family
The Mountain Creek staff quickly began teaching the basics of how to go down a hill
And even the media, NY1, got involved. Tommy was selected for the interview.
I like events like this, it gives people a chance to do something they normally wouldnt have access to doing. “Thank you NYC PARKS DEPT I had a great time” - Tommy.
